Why do we need a tech strategy?

• It explains how we can accomplish Wunder’s goals during day-to-day work.

• As a north star, it creates alignment, improves collaboration and makes decisions and discussions more efficient.

We guide our decisions with conscious biases

• We intend for this document and how we work to be opinionated. Noteworthy biases are expressed with a little level emoji: “⚖️”.

• A bias doesn’t make us blindly choose one side. Instead it sometimes makes it easier to decide between two almost equally good options (and stick with it for consistency).

Valuable over Consistent

Consistency means following patterns; These patterns are best observed in software that’s being used by customers.

Opinionated over Inconsistent

To make collaboration simple and independent from arcane knowledge, we make things consistent. That sometimes requires bias.
